Dear Fellow Parent:
I should warn you, this isn't the most politically correct letter.
And it DEFINITELY isn't the "same-old, same-old" that you've heard from your guidance counselor, other teachers or parents.
This letter is about the truth - what it REALLY takes to get into a top college...
Northeastern University reportedly received more than 90,000 applications last year year. The process of getting into college today barely resembles what we went through. Things are upside down compared to 30 years ago.
Yesterday's "joke" colleges that admitted anyone with a pulse and a checkbook are now, all of a sudden, "Reach" schools that are impossible to get into!
Today, it seems like everyone applying to college has a 90-something GPA and a resume chock full of "leadership" and "passion project" activities. That's a big problem: How will your child answer the "invisible question" on the Common Application...
Getting into college today is about how you MARKET yourself in addition to your grades, SAT and ACT scores and extracurricular activities.
It's NOT a meritocracy.
You may wish things were different, but that's how things really work, here on Planet Earth,
If you or your child fails to acknowledge that, or, decides to roll the dice and just "wing it," hoping things magically work out when college acceptances are sent out, you might be in for a rude awakening. We call it...
At every high school, year in and year out, the same sad tale plays out:
Kids who "deserved" to get into top college, don't...
And those with lesser academic credentials, somehow DO!
Why does this happen? How will your kid avoid this?
I know. But it's not supposed to be fair. College admissions is RIGGED.
To level the playing field, you've got to learn the rules of The Game.
Problem is, your guidance counselor isn't going to tell you them, either because she herself doesn't how to play...
...or because these Rules are too politically incorrect to be disclosed "on the record!"
Great news, you're in the right place. You don't have to rely on your guidance counselor or other parents with limited knowledge (or questionable motives) to find out EXACTLY what your child needs to do to get into a top college...
...and win tens of thousands in fat, juicy scholarships!
No more spinning your wheels or short-circuiting your personal Anxiety Meter because you're paralyzed with overwhelm and don't know where to start
We've put together a short, power-packed, easy to understand live, interactive seminar on the college admissions process that will help you you discover precisely what admissions officers want to see...
...and reveal the "closely-guarded secrets" of how to win tens of thousands in dollars in scholarships, even if you earn "too much" or own your business.
It's all content, no fluff.
That means you won't waste any time or emotional energy guessing, because you'll be able to pinpoint the precise strategies and tactics your son or daughter needs to do to boost their odds of admission to any college...
...and how to win boatloads of scholarships, so much so that you actually look forward to getting your tuition bill!
The College Admissions Master Class consists of a series of informative presentations, covering these critically important topics:
But that's not all! There's more...
We'll devote an entire session of the Master Class session to financial aid and scholarship strategies, especially for high income, "affluent" families. Former Assistant District Attorney-turned-Financial Aid Maven Pearl Lockwood will reveal:
Any one of these topics could "pay off" many times over for you, quite literally.
But I've got a few more tricks up my sleeve as a way to sweeten the offer, to encourage you to jump in...
...and so that you see it's a 100% no-brainer for you to get in on this now.
Andy and Pearl are an exceptional team, guiding families through the entire college application process. Our private consulting clients pay between $12,000 to more than $30,000 for this advice and one-on-one coaching, and they use it to help get into institutions such as Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Duke, MIT, Cornell, Notre Dame, U Virginia, U Michigan, Boston College and every other competitive school you've heard of.
You, on the other hand, won't have to pay anywhere near our typical consulting fees, but you'll get the same information that our private clients receive when they unflinchingly invest in our college coaching services. Because they know about our results.
Not to mention how we help them get tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships and grants that never have to be repaid!
Our advice helps them get The Edge over their fellow competitor-applicants - at their high schools - and all over the world.
Tuition for our College Admissions Master Class is $997, but worth at least double that amount, truth be told.
... BUT, when you enroll today, you'll qualify for an instant, 50% off "Early Action Scholarship!"
Each session is recorded for you to rewatch, or to view for the first time if you couldn't make one of the live sessions.
And you have LIFETIME access, which means you can use the material for each of your kiddos (cannot be shared outside your nuclear family)!
You simply cannot get this training from your guidance counselor (public or private high school) or anywhere else.
If you EVER decide this training class didn't live up to your expectations, or you have some other reason that you're not satisfied...even NO reason, just email or call us and we will promptly and cheerfully refund 100% of your money (we'll even eat the credit card fees we were charged). We're putting our money where our mouth is because we are SO CONFIDENT that you'll love this workshop! (When's the last time you ever heard of any company doing that?"
There is one catch (were you waiting for one? :)
We can't offer this training forever to an unlimited number of families. Even though some of instruction is waiting for you when you login, whenever you want, on-demand, we do a significant amount of one-on-one instruction during the training.
To encourage you to take action the way successful college applicants must, your Early Action Scholarship Deadline is 48 hours from now.
After that deadline, your tuition for this training goes back up to $997. (You won't be able to get back to this page.)
So I hope you move forward and get this unprecedented, (almost) unfair advantage in college admissions over your competitors, today!
See you in class!
Sincerely,
-Andy Lockwood

We worked with Lockwood College Prep for a second time to help our middle son, Jude, navigate the college application process. We were once again very grateful for Andy and Pearl’s support and guidance. From the beginning, they were instrumental in making the experience smooth and so much less stressful. Andy helped us create a thoughtful, well-rounded list of schools that fit Jude’s interests and goals, while also ensuring that his application showcased not only his accomplishments but his individual personality and potential. Pearl made the financial aid process a breeze, taking the worry out of what would have been an overwhelming task! Thanks to their expertise and dedication, Jude was accepted to one of his top choices, Providence College, and he couldn’t be happier there. We wholeheartedly recommend the Lockwood team to any family looking for expert advice and support throughout the college admissions journey.

Andy was extremely helpful during the college selection and application process. I signed up for the soup to nuts, entire package so he and Pearl were my go-to for everything college planning related. They even filled out the CSS and FAFSA for me. My child worked mostly with Andy and then with his team for the essays. ALL I NEED TO SAY IS.... WE ARE 2/2!! Both of my children got into their first choice school. I fully believe my son got into his dream Top 20 based on Andy's advice. Thank you so much Andy and team!

***** FIVE STAR REVIEW!! We would highly recommend Andy & Pearl. Great people, sharp and funny too. They don't put up with peoples (kids & parents) crap & excuses. I like that as well. I am all about ROI return on investment, which is why I was willing to look at this opportunity after a friend HIGHLY recommended Lockwood Consulting. Of course, I was skeptical. I am a real estate investor. I calculate CAP rates and look at ROI for multifamily rental properties as my profession. We own close to 100 rental properties (not bragging, just want you to know I understand about ROI).... so I know a great deal when I find one. For us, this process is all about "bang for buck" and the return on our $$$$. Through Andy and Pearl's guidance our daughter has been accepted into her top choice school. She also got her dream job while at college, a managers position in a PAC12 athletic program that will not only give her TWO YEARS FULLY PAID TUITION, it will allow her to travel and gain seriously awesome work experience. For the other two years have already received $15K IN SCHOLARSHIPS for both years. We are now down to paying $40K for 2 years = $80K Most normal people will pay: $55K+ for 4 years = $220,000 to send their kids to this school. We are now working with Andy to get MORE SCHOLARSHIPS!! Andy is also helping us play the schools off against each other to get a FURTHER REDUCTION for us. I believe this deal will get even better over the next couple of months, with Andy's help. So far we have saved $140,000. Now that's a bomb deal!!! We just signed our son up today, and look forward to going through this process again. Thanks Andy & Pearl!!! --

We signed up for Lockwood college prep when our first child was applying to college ,as parents ,we didn’t go to school in the states therefore we found the process daunting and we weren’t very familiar with the process . However Andy,Pearl and the entire Lockwood team made the experience completely stress free. They provided invaluable assistance with essay writing, compiling college lists, listing accomplishments, completing the CSS Profile and the dreaded FASFA application. Our satisfaction with the Lockwood’s college prep team was so high that we signed our next two children as well . Our first two children got into their dream colleges and our last child has received most of her acceptances to college ,she will be attending in the fall . We cannot emphasize enough how invaluable their guidance and support have been throughout this journey.

I'd like to say thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Lockwood and everyone else at Lockwood College Prep. I asked for their help this past summer as the whole college finance topic was pretty confusing. It turns out I waited too long to seek the Lockwood's help and I was told, by FAFSA, that my family was wealthy beyond measure (not even close). When it was apparent that we would not qualify for need based aid, again I waited too long, my family's focus then shifted to finding help for our daughter so she could make herself an "Incomparable Applicant". This past Monday she received her acceptance letter to one of the most competitive colleges in the country. The kid, despite being related to a dope like me, is bright, well rounded and motivated, but without the Lockwood group's help it would have been WAY more difficult for her to get in. My recommendation to everyone is to start asking for advice as soon as possible. Andy and Pearl know what they're doing and they can save you a bundle............if you start early enough. If you're like me and you start too late, they can still help your son or daughter gain admittance to some of the best colleges in the country.

I am so grateful to Andy and Pearl! They helped me both get in and AFFORD my dream school. They were super accessible and comforting on the many occasions when I would freak out about some part of the college process. I highly recommend Lockwood College Prep!

Incredible help with essay writing and application process.

We cannot say enough about how great an experience we had with Andy & Pearl and how lucky we were to find them. We have two seventeen year old boys who will be attending college in the fall. To be perfectly honest, we were quite skeptical about a lot of the things Andy presented in the beginning as far as what his company would be able to do. We figured we might have a couple of the things he mentioned in his presentation happen, but not all of them. Their service is not cheap, but he indicates the money that is saved in the first year tuition on one kid will cover what he costs. Sounds great....but come on really? Well it turns out he was wrong, we saved enough on tuition through merit aid in one year on one kid to pay his fee two and a half times over for both boys. We are sending our boys to two excellent small liberal arts colleges, Loyola and Holy Cross, at discounts of $38,500 and $29,000 from sticker price per year. You can do the math, that's a savings of $270,000 over their four years of college. I know without Andy's guidance there is no way we would have found the right schools for our boys much less get any kind of discounts like these. We went from being complete novices about finding Colleges to being experts with Andy's guidance. I have to say the things that Andy educates you on and the information he provides you will not find anyplace else. We can honestly say that at this point we know about ten times more than the boys' school guidance counselor about this process. Sad, but true. Their process addressed every aspect of the college process including the boys taking tests to evaluate their personality to find their best fits as far as majors/careers to their own exclusively designed computer software that realistically predicts ability to get in to schools. We really could go on all day about how great our Lockwood College Prep experience was. If you are very serious about this process, willing to put the time and effort as a family required, able to have an open mind, and listen to the guidance given, we know you will not be disappointed with their service. Andy doesn't sugar coat things and you need to leave your ego at the door, but you will come away from this process with the best college for your student at a fair price. You additionally will come away knowing more than 99% of the parents going through this process. We are actually surprised on a daily basis in speaking to other parents, the lack of knowledge there is and how they came to their decisions. You will come to find in the end that this whole process is a game and if you choose to use their service, you will put yourself in a winning position. Guru Nation 4 Life, Team Couch

The instructional sessions and private, 1:1 breakout sessions usually run a total of 2 1/2-3 hours. (Instructional sessions recorded.)
After you enroll we will give you a worksheet that lists the items and information that will help you get the most you can out of the workshop, including your child's grades, practice or actual SAT or ACT scores, if known, his or her extracurricular activities, your current college list or types of colleges under consideration, plus information about your income and savings.
We don't need to see your tax returns, bank statements or any private information, but it would be productive for you to be familiar with your financial information, generally, so that we can recommend college funding strategies.
All instructional sessions are recorded for you to view at your convenience.
Yep. I know it's a little "different" but we want you to feel great about signing up for this class. :). Even if we get the occasional weasel who goes through the workshop, gets value but still refunds on us. The risk is on us.
It's intended for parent and student alike, but if you're interested in attending a session during the school day, we don't recommend that your kid cuts school, even though the cool kids will be at our workshop. (Kidding. he or she can watch the recordings.)
Yes. The Incomparable Applicant Master Class is an introductory, standalone workshop that is designed to help you identify college admissions and funding strategies that will help you and your family, specifically.
If you would like help implementing these strategies via our 1:1, private college consulting and/or financial aid consulting programs offered to select families, we can book a call after the class to explore whether we're a good fit for one another.
