- Give you a career assessment and
- Meet with you (parent and child) to analyze and make recommendations
Then you reconvene with your college advisor to talk about majors, careers and the college list, and map out a game plan to get you where you want to be.

It's because it is super easy to go to college and switch majors once; then you do it again. The next thing you know, you wake up and you are on the six-year plan.
At an extra 100k or more per year. YUCK.
Or, you pick a major and career before you really know what you're getting into. Then you graduate and you get a job in that field. But you end up hating it.
