The November Sprint: For high school seniors -- and their moms -- with looming college application deadlines...
For Class of 2025 Seniors facing Early Decision, Early Action and Regular Decision deadlines...in perhaps the most CHAOTIC, NONSENSICAL year of college admissions EVER...and their parents who don't want to scream and threaten them all Fall!
The November Sprint Program is designed to help your child stand out against thousands of competitor-applicants like a diamond at a coal convention...
...to maximize their chances of getting into their "Dream College" that they're dying to attend...
...by helping them create polished, RIVETING, stand-out college applications and essays that resonate with each admissions officer that reads them...
...and without YOU screaming, threatening or otherwise lifting a finger!
Picture how great it would feel to know that your child completed his applications and essays in a stress-free manner...
...and magically submitted them to a balanced, strategic list of colleges eager to "bribe" them to enroll with offers of fat, juicy merit scholarships!
Even before coronavirus and the antics of Lori, Felicity et al, applying to college ain't what it used to be, thanks to rampant grade inflation that makes it damn near impossible for admissions officers to determine how a child will perform in college...
...NOT TO MENTION mind-numbingly similar, even suspicious extracurriculars such as service trips, volunteering and clubs, glowing teacher and guidance counselor letters of recommendation plastered all over today's college applications!
Nor is it a piece of cake for your poor kiddo to persuade his admissions officer that he deserves to be admitted!
Your child must state his case via a manner of writing never-before undertaken, unrecognizable to your average English teacher, and far different than any other writing assignment he encountered in school.
How will he stand out and tell his story, the "closing argument" that convinces an admissions officer to roll out the red carpet and invite him to the exclusive party, behind the velvet ropes?
That's what kids' essays and applications must do.
The Common Application, Coalition Application and other applications are the last, best chance at persuading the admissions committee that your child is THE ONE.
Your child will complete her essays and applications quickly and efficiently, because she won't have any doubts about what direction to go.
She won't have to wonder "Is this what admissions officers are looking for?" or stress out because "I have nothing to say!", because we will pinpoint what should be stricken, which should be amplified and when to change directions on an essay or application.
This is an INCREDIBLE, unique advantage and opportunity.
You'll have confidence and clarity, because we have helped hundreds of students -and advised on thousands of college essays - in our 20+ years in college advising.
Contrast this with your English teacher’s background or even that of other college essay advisors, who NEVER SET FOOT inside of a Top 25 college’s admissions office. They are not “Insiders.”
Let’s be honest: they are merely GUESSING about what goes into a college essay.
Are you willing to risk your child's college future on their hunches?
In contrast, our experts. That means zero guesswork.
Because of the personal nature of this program, we can take on a maximum of 12 students. Spots are awarded first-come, first-served.

Andy and Pearl were both invaluable from start to finish as were trying to help our oldest son navigate the college application process! Andy helped us create a well-balanced list of schools and showed us how to effectively communicate not only Harry's accomplishments, but who he is and what he has to offer the colleges on his list. Pearl made the process of financial aid forms completely stress-free. Harry was admitted into his dream school as well as most others on his list, and we could not be more pleased with the Lockwood team!

Enroll Today!Hi Andy, I just had to let you know the ripple effect of your help with Izzy and Xander.
Ellie (in pink) got kicked out of the Oregon State Volleyball team because of bad grades.
We connected her with Debbi, and now she is thriving. We would never have ben able to offer this kind of support without YOU!!
We think of you often, and our ROI on our investment in YOU is infinity.
Grateful for you, always!

Enroll Today!Nicholas Becker graduated Stanford in July, one of only 34 out of 1800 undergrads who were insane enough to go for physics undergrad degree. In addition, he went into the coterminus program his senior year, meaning he started a masters degree in computer science, so is 1/2 finished with that at graduation. Yes, I'm bragging.
But none of it would have been possible without Pearl and Andy Lockwood's guidance. And you can quote me on that in all of your marketing materials. Along with the appropriate royalties sent our way. (Or free for you to use if you don't make any sarcastic comments about the dude with the gray hair and receding hairline.)
Cheers,
Chris Becker, Atlanta, Georgia
Enroll Today!I shouldn't have to say this, but I'm going to press ahead: we cannot guarantee admission to any particular college.
Guarantees are stupid, because there are so many factors out of our control -- your child's effort, the raw number of competitor-applicants at a given college, the grades, statistics and characteristics of every other competitor-applicant, you get the point.
Nor is it ethical to offer a guarantee, as we have witnessed in the recent past.
So if someone is offering you a promise or guarantee that seems too good to be true, my advice is to run, not walk, away.
The only promise I will make is that we will give you our best possible, independent, agenda-free advice to help your child present him or herself in the best, most optimized way to each of their admissions officers. The same advice that we've given our clients who got into the most elite colleges in the world, including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, Duke, etc. etc. etc.
If your child is coachable and ready to roll up his sleeves and get to work, then you're a good fit for us and this program.
